January 2011 - Fitting of new kitchen
Mark was recommended to us by our fab plumber. He first came to us in June 2010, to help in a complete re-vamp of our dire and dated bathroom. He incorporated a corridor into the area to create a divine bathroom with space for a walk-in shower, an airing cupboard, full size double ended bath (for those family bath times!), heated towel rail and all the other essentials, including brand new flooring. We loved his work so much that we asked him back later that year to rip out our dire and dated kitchen and replace it with a superb Howdens job.
Mark is the fastest worker I have ever met. His team is the only bunch that do not start their working day with cups of tea – they have to have put in several hours hard slog before the first cuppa and even then they drink it whilst working. Revolutionary concept. He and his team were always cheerful (even when we changed our minds) and helpful with suggestions as to how to improve our original ideas and to save money (occasionally).
I would not hesitate to recommend him for any projects and he will be the first person we call when we create a second shower room in our dire and dated spare loo. Not only is Mark a first class artisan, but he brings a crew with similar principles and work ethics. In these tricky days, he’s worth his weight in gold.
